Course Details
A complete course in Nail Technology includes all phases of Manicure, Pedicuring, Acrylics and Nail Enhancements, as well as safety and sanitation procedures. It also includes non-technical skills such as communication, job seeking, and salon management. Hamblen School Of Beauty employees will study Milady's Standard Textbook of Nail Technology. Milady's program is nationally recognized, featuring methods that seek to provide students with the most modern skills and techniques available today. All textbooks and equipment are included in the cost of tuition.
Course Requirements
The course consists of 600 clock hours which can be completed in as little as 4 months with full time attendance. The full time class schedule hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. Part time scheduling is available for those who are unable to attend full time.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for enrollment, applicants must be at least 17 years of age and have completed and passed at least 2 years of high school or have obtained a score of at least 450 on the GED test.
Enrollment
New classes typically begin on the first monday of each month. Students may register to enroll in any classes Mondqy through Friday during normal business hours. Upon enrollment, students must provide proof of education with either their original high school diploma or a certified transcript from their high school. Students who have taken the GED test will need a certified copy of their test scores.
Tuition & Fees
The total cost for the Nail Technician course is 3,500.00. for your convenience, monthly payments may be set up through our office.
Dress Code
Students are required to dress professionally in black uniforms, ( scrubs are recommended) and comfortable black shoes and socks. No open toed shoes or sandals may be worn. Tennis shoes may be worn as long as they are all black.
Job Placement
While the school is not allowed to guarantee students a job upon graduation, every effort will be made to assist them in finding suitable employment.
